Church member decided to go check on her and on getting to her house they perceived an offensive odour plus her door was still locked. The police were contacted and upon opening the door, pastor Esther's body was found between her parlour and room in the pool of blood. A wound was on her forehead , a wrapper was on her neck and her pant carelessly thrown away suggesting she was raped and killed.
The house of the late pastor was scattered suggesting there was a struggle b before she was raped and killed.
Meanwhile, ikom police have lunched an investigation into the gruesome murder of Esther neji an assistant pastor with assemblies of God church obudu road ikom in cross rivers state.
