At  least  22 school  children   have  drowned  in  a boat  mishap  in  Sudan. The  tragedy tragedy  occurred  on Wednesday  when a  boat  carrying  more  than  40 children  sank  while  crossing the  Nile  in the  northern  part of  Sudan . The  children were  said  to  be  on  their  way  to  school .

  According to  report  by  Sudan's  news  agency  the  boats engine failed  at  a high  current  while  it  was  crossing  the river  to  a school  in Kabna  a small  village  in  northern  Sudan.
