The  former  glee  star  downloaded thousands  of  child  pornography  between n April  and  December 2015, and  he  reportedly showed  an adult  woman  his  children  pornography  collection   who  reported  him to the  police.

 Following the  tip off  Mr salling  was arrested  in California,  and the police  found  a cache  of  explicit  images  on his  laptop showing  children  as young  as 10 in sexual  situations. More  than 50,000 photos  and  videos  were  found  in his  laptop  while over  4000 photos  were  discovered  on a flash  drive.
 Salling  was originally  facing  a maximum  sentence  of  20 years jail  term, he took  a plea  deal last  year  Dec  where  he pleaded  guilty  to  possessing  prebuberscent images  of children  between  the ages  of 3 and  5 the  prosecutor  in response  to  Mr sallings  plea agreed  to ask  the  judge  to  sentence  him to  between  4 and 7 years  in jail.

 According  to  reports,  mark had  been  dead  for  sometime  before the  police  found  his  body.
