Minister of education Mr Adamu Adamu today announced the scrapping of post-utme examination organized by various higher institutions in nigeria for students who sits for jamb examination.
The minister while speaking today at the opening of 2016 combined policy meeting on admissions to universities, polytechnics and higher institution in nigeria , he said that the federal government had confidence in the examination conducted by the Joint Admissions and matriculations board.adding that there was no need for for other examinations to be conducted by universities after jamb.
Meanwhile jamb authorities have put cutoff mark for admissions into all tertiary institution at 180.
The chief executive officer and registrar of jamb professor Dibu Ojerinde announced this today at the same event .
