According to reports, there was a wild drama on the floor of the senate on wednesday  when George Sekibo a senator from Rivers State presented a petittion against the nomination of Rotimi Amaechi by the president.

No sooner than Sekibo . who is a members of the PDP   raises a point to submit the petition , than  the all progressives senators kicked against it  and raised their voice shouting NO! NO. Not minding the actions of the APC senators, Sekibo went ahead with his point of order and got a permission of the senate president to submit the document on behalf of his other  senators from rivers state.
