The Nigerian Code of Conduct bureau has filed charges filed charges against senate president Olubukola Saraki for for alleged failure to fully declare his assets.
The tribunal 13 count charges exclusively obtained by saharareporters, accuses the senate president of among other crimes of improperly using state funds to purchase private assets during his time as governor of Kwara state,while he was senator of the federal republic of Nigeria.
The senate president was also accussed of declaring as part of his assets, properties that had nt been sold to him,also known as "anticipatory looting" in Nigeria's political lexicon.
