The Lagos state government has announced that there will be  free bus ride today, october 4, 2014, the free ride  only applies to governmant owned buses in the state.

The managing director of  Lagos Metropolitan  Area Transport Authority Dayo Mobereola,  made known the gesture in a statement issued by the company's external relation officer.

''In other to ease the the movement of commuters during the Eid-El- Kabir Festival.the lagos state governmentis offering Lagos residents free bus ride on saturday October 4, 2014,''Mobereola said
